The last "Grey's Anatomy" episode ended with a major cliffhanger that left fans of the show asking this question: Will Dr. Alex Karev (Justin Chambers) accept the plea deal and make the big sacrifice or not?
That question will be answered as ABC will feature the much-anticipated winter premiere of season 13 episode 10 on Jan. 19.
In the midseason finale of season 13, Jo (Camilla Luddington) finally came clean about her secret marriage and her real name. That revelation led to Alex questioning his decision and has reconsidered taking the plea deal. With the thought that he might be sent to jail, he took one final moment to apologize to Jo for assaulting Andrew (Giacomo Gianniotti) and for the things he had called her. Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) asked Alex to think about his decision carefully and pleaded for him not to give up. The episode ended leaving viewers with many unanswered questions.
"Grey's Anatomy" season 13 episode 10, dubbed "You Can Look (But You'd Better Not Touch)" will reveal Alex's future. The promo video shows Alex behind bars. In the previous episode, he assaulted Andrew thinking the latter was having an affair with Jo.
Meredith is reading Alex's sentence in the clip, which is 30 years to life. Bailey's (Chandra Wilson) disappointment is written all over her face with the turn of events. Episode 10 will also feature a guest appearance from Jasmin Savoy Brown who will play Amanda.
The new episode may be full of revelations as Maggie (Kelly McCreary) may finally find out her sister is having an affair with New Zealander Nathan (Martin Henderson). A fight between the sisters seems to be looming in the next few episodes.
The show's teaser doesn't really reveal much, but it is clear fans of the show will be in for a lot of drama.
The new episode will air on Thursday, Jan. 19, at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
